S1E4 Out Of The Blue
Happy Near Year, everyone!
Welcome to Episode 4 of Stage Door Medium with Broadway Legend, Julia Murney. Julia made her Broadway debut in Lennon, however, you may also know her from The Wild Party where she originated the role of Queenie (To PERFECTION). You may also know her from that little show called Wicked where she played Elphaba on the tour and Broadway. If you’re like me, you might also just lip sync every bit of song and dialogue from her Actors’ Fund performance of “People” from Funny Girl. No matter, she’s Broadway royalty, and I couldn’t be more grateful to have her.
This week, we talk all about Lilydale (Spiritual community that’s a Disneyland of sorts for those in need of a reading), Julia’s magical vibrato, and her teenage summers at Stage Door Manor.
We’ll also talk about the parallels between artists and mediums in terms of taking natural gifts or ability and honing it through training. We also discuss why some readings are better than others based on the person’s need for a reading (“The greater the need, the greater the read.”) As usual, we’ll discuss Julia’s reading, plus a “Mommie Dearest” line that came through as a symbol, and a particularly insistent Spirit who visited Jimmy for a week straight until he relayed messages to Julia.
