S1E12 The Road To Hell
S1E12: The Road to Hell Featuring Timothy Hughes
Welcome back to another week of Stage Door Medium! This week we’re going way down under the ground as we welcome Broadway actor Tim Hughes onto the show. Tim’s Broadway credits include Chaplin, Frozen, and the smash hit, Hadestown. In addition, Tim made his film debut in The Greatest Showman alongside Hugh Jackman.
This week, Jimmy and Tim discuss their childhood notions of hell, having both grown up as Catholic, versus now, with what Jimmy sees about the other side. Jimmy explains what happens to the not-so-nice folks when we cross, and why it’s more about growth and rehabilitation versus flames and pitchforks. If the topic of what happens once we pass interests you, we have another episode coming up where we talk about this topic and what exactly “life review” is!
In addition, Tim discusses his reading in-depth with Jimmy, including why a reading feels like a big safe bubble, the “Oh my God” moments that made sense a week after his reading, as well as sharing some special moments about his father and grandmother who are in Spirit. In addition, Tim talks about when Jimmy started reading on a high-profile unsolved murder case without realizing it. Fun fact: Mediums are frequently utilized by the police, FBI etc to help solve cold cases.
Finally, we discuss that flag incident at Frozen and why hate has no home in Arendelle, a Broadway theatre or anywhere.
